As part of a dynamic duo, Kirin Naulls alongside Kim Teems started Bridging African Americans and the African Diaspora in Unity, better known as BAAADU.

BAAADU is composed of two foundational pillars: BAAADU Festival Inc., a non-profit entity, and BAAADU Entertainment. BAAADU Festival Inc. is a non-profit dedicated to educating, empowering, and informing people about the significant contributions of Africans, the African Diaspora, and African Americans all across the globe. The festival serves as a vibrant platform for dialogue, cultural exchange, and enrichment, showcasing the history and achievements that have shaped societies worldwide.

On the entertainment front, BAAADU Entertainment becomes the beating pulse of cultural expression, promoting music, film, fashion, and entertainment from gifted African creators and those from the diaspora.  BAAADU Entertainment illuminates narratives and art forms that inspire, entertain, and bring communities closer together.

Kirin's extensive 29-year career as a Computer Operations Instructor and Microsoft Office Specialist highlights her dedication to empowering individuals in socioeconomically deprived communities in Los Angeles, including Skid Row, where she has made a significant impact by sharing her expertise and fostering digital literacy. Her proactive and deadline-driven approach reflects her commitment to her craft and the communities she serves.

When Kirin wasn't teaching she volunteered with the NAACP Image Awards which ignited her passion for show production. The volunteer opportunity lead her to join the team for the NAACP Theater Awards under the guidance of Producer/Director Oscar Hernandez. Demonstrating her aptitude and enthusiasm, she quickly absorbed various facets of production, including stage design and script writing, which helped her develop a well-rounded skill set in the industry.

Now, with over 14 years experience in production it was a natural transition for her to branch out and formerly create a company where she could feed her passion.
